What you can do with it
| Task | How |
|---|---|
| Vet a seller, buyer or "expert" before you trust them | Search the username, check account age and whether their history matches what they claim |
| See where someone is most active | The subreddit chips show the communities they post in most; click one to filter |
| Find a comment you remember but can't locate | Add the subreddit and a keyword |
| Learn how trusted members of your niche write | Read the top-voted comments of the people others reply to, and copy their tone, not their words |
| Check a moderator or a competitor's founder account | See how they present themselves and whether they disclose their affiliation |
Why a hidden profile still shows results
Reddit now lets users hide their post and comment history from their profile page. That setting changes what the profile shows, not whether the comments are public: each comment still sits in its thread, and public archives keep a copy. The tool shows those public comments. It cannot see private messages, votes, private or banned communities, or anything the archive never captured.
Use it fairly
- Research behaviour and context, not people's private lives. Don't use it to harass, dox or brigade anyone.
- Don't quote someone's comments back at them in a thread — Reddit and most subreddits treat that as harassment.
- If you're researching your market, look at the conversation, not the person. That's what our lead discovery does.
Data comes from Arctic Shift, a free public archive of Reddit. Your browser asks the archive directly; RedditQuora does not store your searches or the results.
FAQ
How do I see someone's Reddit post history?
Open their profile at reddit.com/user/NAME. If they have hidden their history, enter the username in this tool: it lists their public posts and comments from the archive, newest first, with links back to Reddit.
Can I see a private Reddit profile?
You can see public posts and comments the account made in public communities, because those remain public in their threads. Private messages, votes, saved items and posts in private communities cannot be seen by anyone outside Reddit.
Does the person know I searched for them?
No. The search goes from your browser to a public archive. Reddit and the user are not notified, and RedditQuora does not store searches.
Why are scores 0 or 1 on recent items?
The archive records items when they are posted and refreshes scores about 36 hours later, so very recent posts show early numbers.
Why is a recent comment missing?
The archive is close to real time but can lag, and it cannot capture content from private or quarantined communities. Comments deleted within seconds may never be archived.
